First Student is hiring immediately for a Service Employee for our shop serving Nampa, ID!

As a Service Employee at First Student, you will play an integral role in ensuring the safety of the children who count on us for a ride to and from school in those classic yellow buses.

About First Student’s Service Employee Position

At First Student, our Service Employees maintain and fuel our vehicles. The Service Employees also perform light maintenance as necessary to buildings and grounds. As a Service Employee at First Student, your day will include the tasks mentioned above and the following:

  • Checking and filling the oil, antifreeze, power steering, transmission fluid, brake fluid, windshield washer fluid and belts on buses being fueled

  • Performing light interior and exterior maintenance on buses as required

  • Maintaining accurate records and completing various fuel reports

  • Performing other management requests or directives

Service Employees are subject to DOT drug testing as a safety-sensitive employee. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.

  • You have a valid driver’s license and a willingness to obtain a CDL (don’t worry, we will train you for this!)
