Manager in Development

The Manager in Development (MID) position is a short-term transitional role (approximately 12 weeks) designed to provide hands-on work assignments and targeted training to prepare candidates for management positions. During this program, MIDs will work closely with leadership and participate in departmental rotations, including dispatch, road supervision, safety, finance, and HR. Responsibilities will include managing safety risks, financial analysis, operations coordination, and fleet maintenance, while also gaining exposure to areas such as security, sales, human resources, labor relations, and legal compliance.

Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 1-2 years of supervisory or transportation/logistics experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a valid driver’s license are required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and candidates must be willing to relocate within the designated market unit.
